I received a very warm greeting upon arrival from the reception staff. This was a very compact room, but it was functional. I initially thought it was the smallest hotel I had ever been in but the next hotel took that title. The room had a refrigerator, iron, ironing board & trouser press. One cool amenity was the Handy T1 smartphone that came with the room. You could sign up for an account and make local and international calls while you roamed around Japan. I can’t speak to how the service worked because I used my own cell phone and prepaid SIM.
They had a laundry facility on site which is an amenity I love because I travel for long periods of time. The hotel was right across the street from the Oshiage metro station so it wasn’t a long walk with my luggage. They also had luggage carts at the entry door which was great after being on trains with my luggage. There was a sizzler restaurant on the 5th floor, but it was kind of pricey to me so I didn’t eat there. There were several restaurants in the skytree mall across the street and there was a two story grocery store in the building. I also thought it was cool even though I had my Do Not Disturb sign on they hung a bag with fresh towels on the door.
