Customer service wasn’t the greatest. The people always smiled when you approached them but they did not go out of their way to assist and there was no urgency in the need to complete your request. The room was comfortable. The pool view also came with the construction view of the renovation of the other side of the building so that was a wasted up charge.
The location was good Patong Beach (Loma Section) was literally across the street at the end of the block and it was only about a 10 minute walk to Bangla walking street if you want to party. It was only about a 15-20 minute walk to Hard Rock and to Jungceylon Shopping Center which I knew had other food outlets (Subway, McDonalds, KFC, Dairy Queen).
MAJOR SCORE for the express they had an onsite laundry facility and a microwave at the front desk. I know these seem like strange things to be excited about but it’s nice to go back to my room while my clothes wash and dry. It’s also nice to be able to heat up leftovers (it keeps my food budget in tact). I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
