Review: Moon Island Resort - Abu Dhabi – NOT IMPRESSED!
My fiend wanted to attend a day party here and decided to book a villa for us to stay overnight so we wouldn’t have to rush back to Dubai. I thought it was way overpriced for the quality. The only plus for the villa was that it was spacious. The indoor furniture was patio furniture with plastic cushions. The floor looked like it had never seen a dust mop. The window in the bedroom facing the water was shattered. The refrigerator had an odor. There were no plugs in the bedrooms, so I plugged up my computer and phone in the kitchen to come back and find them both covered in little red ants. There is no wifi on the island. The kitchen closes at 10:00pm and they don’t have anything available for you to purchase for snacks so be sure to take food and snacks with you. The event we attended offered a food buffet, but the food was just ok. I looked at the menu the next morning and it was overpriced to me as well especially considering I didn’t love the food served at the event. The only positive part of this experience was that the resort pool area was really nice with great views & the staff was very personable and attentive.
