Review: La Quinta Inn & Suites Westchase - Comfortable Stay
This was a comfortable place to stay. The room was very spacious and I always have to point out my affection for hotel rooms with a refrigerator and a microwave. I needed to borrow some plyers to fix my suitcase. The maintenance man just happened to be at the front desk when I went to ask and he was really nice. He had to go and find them because they were not where he expected them to be, but he didn’t seem bothered about having to get them at all.
The location is great. You have easy access to several eateries and shopping centers that will provide everything you need. If you have to get to another part of Houston quickly the location is right off both the Sam Houston and Westpark Tollways.
My only complaint is the lack of communication about a late checkout. I got a call a little after checkout time asking me when I was leaving and I told them I had asked for a late checkout. Then maybe ten minutes after that call housekeeping was knocking on the door. So the disturbances really defeat the purpose of offering late checkout!
