Review: Holiday Inn Manchester - City Centre - GREAT LOCATION
I really wish I would have got the young ladies name that checked me in August 22 at 10:45am. She was so pleasant and told me she would go over the map with me since it was my first time in Manchester. I was going to talk to her more when I went back down to get food, but she was gone for the day and I didn’t see her anymore while I was there. The guy that was at the desk when I went back was not interested in helping me. He pretty much just told me that if I just walked down the block everything was right there. NOT HELPFUL!
I am glad that I started my stay in Manchester at this hotel though because it was a great place to get my feet wet. It was right near the Piccadilly train station which is the main railway station in Manchester. The Piccadilly Gardens, Arndale Shopping Center, Gay Village are all nearby. I just happened to be in town for pride unknowingly, so it was pleasant to be able to walk over and see the area come alive for the celebration. The room and the bed was comfortable. I loved that chair. It was a great place to relax. I enjoyed the view and the natural light that came into the room.
