Review: Holiday Inn Cape Town – GREAT CENTRAL LOCATION
I enjoyed my stay! Christian was the first person to greet me. He saw my Uber dropping me off on the street and rushed over to take my luggage. Then I received the warmest welcome from Addie Mae at the front desk. My check-in was easy and Addie Mae made sure I received all the information I needed about the hotel and told me about the happy hour in the elephant room for elite rewards members. I think you should go and check out the elephant room bar even if you are not a rewards member because it is the cutest little bar and the bar tender was welcoming.
The room was comfortable and clean with plenty of plugs and enough space to be comfortable. I had a corner room with two big windows so I had plenty of natural light and a nice view. I opt out of housekeeping to receive green stay points, but the housekeeping ladies were always pleasant when I would encounter them in the hallway or the elevator.
The location was great! There are plenty of food options within walking distance and if you plan to do the Hop On Hop Off bus one of the main pickup points is just a few blocks away on long street.
