Review: Holiday Inn Bur Dubai – Embassy District – Central Location
Turun was so delightful during my check-in. I was tired and out of breath from dragging my over packed luggage from the metro station and his colleague came over and gave me a bottle of water. Raghu was my room attendant for the week and he was very nice and he was always graciously willing to provide me with any replenishments I needed for my room.
I was upgraded to a King Executive room as a Platinum Elite member so the room was very spacious with a seating area and plenty space for me to spread out and work. The location is great because it’s a five minute walk to Burjman metro station that has both the red and green lines for you to get everywhere in the city.
The Burjman mall is across from the metro station and it has a variety of food and shopping options along with a Carrefour hypermarket. This is a great place to base yourself for a holiday or business in Dubai because there are a lot of discount stores around if you have forgot something or if you just want to pick some things up at a good price.
My checkout with Akshay was equally as pleasing as my check-in. He was able to accommodate me with an email receipt and offered me assistance with my bags, but I told him I was walking to the metro station so it was ok.
