Review: Hilton Garden Inn Times Square- Short Stay!
I had a 12 hour layover in New York and decided I didn’t want to stay at the airport so I booked this hotel at the last minute from the airport. My check in was easy and pleasant. The front desk staff was very nice. They had me in my room in minutes. They took care of getting my luggage to storage for me, I didn’t need to take it all to my room since I was leaving early the next morning.
I was in room 1803 and it was very small. The room amenities were great though. I was super happy to have a microwave because I had leftover food I had bought before my flight and it was nice to be able to heat it up. There was also a refrigerator. The view was of another building, but this is New York so the whole town is tall buildings.
The location appeared to be great when I arrived. There were plenty of lights and it looked like I would be able to walk and see some sites, but it started raining so I couldn’t confirm what was in the area. The only thing I didn’t like was not having anyone downstairs to help with my bags and when I left a person pushing taxi’s was allowed to come inside and harass me into a cab instead of Uber.
