The reception area was crazy when I arrived but the staff is all very professional and welcoming in the midst of all the crazy. The bellman were very polite when taking and returning my bags. The front desk manager Jackson was very easy to interact with. I had to get this voucher signed as a proof of my stay for Grand Vacations. He didn’t understand why I needed it signed and I didn’t either seeing as thought I had the receipt, but we laughed about it and he signed it anyway so I wouldn’t have any issues. I needed to get some change and Joenna was fun to chat with as I got my change and waited on Jackson to bring the form back.
I stayed in an upgraded one bedroom and it was very nice. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare meals, the sofa and bed was really comfortable and the apartment had great lighting. The pools were really nice and the onsite laundry was a lovely bonus for me as a long term traveler.
Even though this is not a beach front property you can be on Eagle beach within 5 minutes by walking thru the lobby of the adjacent hotel and crossing the street. The Super Foods grocery store is right across the highway so that made it really convenient to stock the kitchen for meals.
My only complaint would be the hard selling tactics for the timeshare meeting. I absolutely hate being pressured into things so it would have been nice if my no would have been accepted the first time. Management needs to find a way to take care of their sales employees without them harassing the guest.
