When you decide to list your real estate property the agent/broker will ask you to sign an Exclusive Right To Sell / Lease agreement. In this agreement the owner of the property and the broker are the parties. The properties legal and physical address information is used to identify the property being listed. The list price, agreement term, broker compensation and broker authorizations will also be defined.
It is in everybody’s best interest for all agreements to be in writing and clearly express the expectations of the parties in the agreement.
